Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a Grill Cook for Willow Beach, AZ. You will prepare, cook, and serve grilled items, follow recipes, and coordinate with the Executive Chef on daily and special menus. You will set up, restock, break down the grill and assist with hot slide production.

The role requires basic High School education, culinary knowledge, and Food Safety certification. You will maintain temperature logs, ensure food safety, and provide strong customer service in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• Partial high school education required; High School Diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
• Culinary knowledge.
• Food Safety certification and strong sanitation habits.
• Strong customer service abilities; actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers.
• Ability to recognize when a problem has occurred and communicate it to management.

Responsibilities

• Set up, restock, and break down of the grill.
• Daily production of meal items and daily menu specials.
• Prepare daily specials, hot sandwich production, and sides for the hot slide.
• Follow recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, and tasting meats, vegetables, and other grilled foods.
• Operate a variety of kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients, wash, peel, cut, shred, and trim meat and poultry.
• Report all malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor.
• Taste food products, estimate food requirements, check production, and keep records to plan production.
• Maintain temperature logs and signage for the grill station.
• Maintain awareness of safety issues and report them to your manager.
