Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a Grill Cook at Willow Beach, AZ. The role involves preparing, cooking, and serving grilled items, coordinating with the Executive Chef on daily and special menus, and ensuring food safety and sanitation.

You will set up and break down the grill, follow recipes, manage daily specials, and maintain temperature logs and equipment cleanliness. This position requires basic high school education, culinary knowledge, and strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Partial High School education required; High School Diploma/G.E.D. preferred.
• Culinary knowledge.
• Food Safety certified and strong sanitation habits.
• Strong customer service abilities; actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers.
• Ability to recognize when a problem has occurred and communicate it to management.

Responsibilities

• Set up, restock, and break down the grill.
• Daily production of meal items and specials.
• Prepare daily specials, hot sandwiches, and sides for service.
• Follow recipes for grilling, seasoning, cooking and tasting.
• Operate kitchen equipment to measure, mix, and prep food; report equipment malfunctions.
• Taste, estimate requirements, check production, and plan accordingly.
• Manage waste and recycle excess food as needed.
• Clean all equipment and utensils; maintain grill area cleanliness.
• Maintain temperature logs and signage for the grill station.
• Adhere to safety policies and report hazards.
