Job summary

Transaction Network Services is seeking a skilled Field Support Engineer to provide on-site technical and non-technical product support within the Financial Markets infrastructure. This role focuses on maintaining stability, incident management, and responsive service delivery to clients.

You will handle global IP network tasks, lead troubleshooting of routing and hardware issues, coordinate with vendors, and participate in 24x7 coverage on a rotating schedule to ensure minimal service impact.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background in IP networking and routing protocols.
• Experience with Cisco, Arista and Juniper routers and switches.
• 3–5 years troubleshooting circuits and network operations.
• Experience in financial markets support or with MSP/ISV vendors is preferred.
• ITIL certification and experience with change management processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for global TCP/IP, VPN, and MPLS networks, including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, IS-IS.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco, Arista, and Juniper routers and switches.
• Interface with Cisco/Juniper TAC for escalation and vendor management.
• Raise and triage incidents using the ticketing system; follow runbooks.
• Work in a 24x7 IP Desk, on-call escalation on a rotating schedule.
• Coordinate network maintenance and change management activities.
