Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) is seeking a skilled Network Support Engineer to join the Financial Markets Global IP Desk. You will monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate IP-related incidents, collaborating with Cisco and Juniper TAC and internal NOC teams to maintain service stability.

You will handle global TCP/IP, VPN, and MPLS networks, perform hands-on configuration, and provide after-hours on-call support. A background in financial markets and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, MPLS and routing protocols.
• Hands-on configuration of Cisco, Arista and Juniper gear.
• ITIL certification is preferred.
• Experience with NOC environments and external customer support.
• Finance/Financial Markets exposure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for global TCP/IP, VPN and MPLS networks.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco, Arista, and Juniper routers/switches.
• Coordinate with Cisco/Juniper TAC and vendor management.
• Perform second-level network and protocol troubleshooting.
• Raise incident tickets and perform triage per runbooks.
• Work in a 24x7 IP Desk global rotation.
• Ensure incidents are resolved with minimal service impact.
