Job summary

Transaction Network Services (TNS) is seeking a Field Support Engineer to provide on-site and remote support for large-scale TCP/IP, VPN, and MPLS networks. You will diagnose routing issues, coordinate with vendors, and ensure rapid incident resolution for financial markets infrastructure.

As part of the Global IP Desk, you will interact with customers and internal teams, perform change management tasks, and support 24x7 operations on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in network operations or field support.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP routing, VPN, MPLS.
• Familiar with OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, IS-IS protocols.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Experience with Cisco, Arista and Juniper equipment.
• ITIL certification or knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in financial markets support considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote support for TCP/IP, VPN and MPLS networks.
• Troubleshoot Cisco, Arista and Juniper routers and switches.
• Raise incident tickets and coordinate with NOC and vendors.
• Participate in 24x7 IP Desk coverage on a rotating schedule.
• Maintain and update support tickets; ensure timely incident resolution.
• Collaborate with Global IP Desk and Technical Support groups.
