AbbVie Inc. is seeking a Senior Leader to head the Publications Team responsible for executing publication plans across assets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and medical communications objectives.

You will partner with the Publications Director and Scientific Communications Platform lead to optimize resources and drive high-quality output. You will oversee internal and external writers, manage timelines and budgets, and foster an inclusive, collaborative environment while maintaining

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree required; PhD/PharmD/Master’s preferred; relevant certifications are a plus.
4–5 years in medical/scientific publications or related experience in pharma or medical communications.
Demonstrated leadership ability with interdisciplinary collaboration.
Knowledge of clinical/scientific publication structures, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for senior audiences.

Mansioni

Lead a team of publication managers and oversee performance and coaching.
Drive cross-functional collaboration with global stakeholders to execute publication plans.
Manage tactical execution of publications including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations.
