Job summary

Transaction Network Services is seeking a Field Support professional to join the Financial Markets Global IP Desk. You will support large-scale TCP/IP, VPN, and MPLS networks, perform hands-on router/switch configuration, and coordinate with Cisco/Juniper TAC for escalations.

In this customer-facing role, you will work with an on-call rotation, ensure incident resolution, and participate in change-management activities to maintain service stability for financial markets infrastructures.

Qualifications

• TCP/IP, VPN, MPLS routing knowledge (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, IS-IS).
• Hands-on configuration of Cisco, Arista and Juniper routers and switches.
• ITIL Certification and experience with NOC environments.
• Experience working with financial markets infrastructures and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for global TCP/IP, VPN and MPLS networks including OSPF/BGP/EIGRP/RIP/IS-IS.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco, Arista and Juniper routers and switches.
• Coordinate with vendors (Cisco/Juniper TAC) for escalations and issue resolution.
• Perform second-level network and protocol troubleshooting and debugging.
• Coordinate network maintenance and change management activities per policy.
• Provide on-call escalation support on a rotating after-hours schedule.
• Prepare operation readiness checks for project handoff to the NOC.
• Manage incidents to restore service with minimal impact.
