Job summary

Transaction Network Services is seeking a skilled Network Operations/Field Support engineer to ensure the stability and availability of the Financial Markets infrastructure. You'll handle complex IP routing issues, configure routers and switches, and coordinate with vendors to resolve incidents.

The role is customer-facing and requires strong communication within a global team. The position supports a 24x7 IP Desk with after-hours escalation on a rotating schedule, working closely with the NOC

Qualifications

• TCP/IP, VPN, MPLS and routing knowledge (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP, IS-IS).
• Hands-on configuration of Cisco, Arista and Juniper routers and switches.
• ITIL Certification.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, communications software, and Visio.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote support for global TCP/IP, VPN and MPLS networks.
• Perform hands-on configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco, Arista and Juniper devices.
• Coordinate with Cisco/Juniper TAC and interface with vendors as needed.
• Second-level network and protocol troubleshooting and debugging.
• Participate in change management and after-hours on-call escalation.
• Monitor incident tickets and ensure timely resolution with NOC teams.
