Job summary

Transaction Network Services is seeking a Field Support Engineer to support global IP infrastructure in the Financial Markets space. You will handle high‑level TCP/IP, VPN and MPLS issues, coordinate with TACs, and work with a 24x7 global team to keep critical networks available.

The role requires hands-on configuration of Cisco/Arista/Juniper devices, strong communication, and experience with change management and incident response in a financial environment.Competitive benefits and on-site

Qualifications

Experience in financial markets support environment preferred.
Understanding of TCP/IP, VPN, MPLS networks and core routing protocols is essential.
Experience coordinating with vendors and TAC support teams.
Strong communication and customer-facing skills are required.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site and remote technical support for large-scale TCP/IP, VPN and MPLS networks.
Configure and troubleshoot Cisco, Arista and Juniper devices.
Interface with Cisco and Juniper TAC for problem resolution.
Perform second-level network troubleshooting and runbooks following defined procedures.
Coordinate network maintenance and change management activities.
Provide on-call escalation support on a rotating schedule.
Ensure readiness for project handover and incident restoration with minimal impact.
Engage global NOC engineers to drive incidents to resolution.
