Job summary

Transaction Network Services is seeking an on-site Field Support engineer to help maintain and support its global IP Desk for Financial Markets infrastructure. You will raise and triage incidents, coordinate with vendor TACs, and provide second-level troubleshooting across TCP/IP, VPN, and MPLS networks.

The role requires working in a 24x7 global team with after-hours on-call rotations, strong communication skills, and experience with Cisco/Arista/Juniper gear as well as ITIL processes.

Qualifications

• Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge and routing protocols.
• Experience with Cisco, Arista, Juniper routers and switches.
• ITIL certification preferred.
• Background in financial markets support.
• Excellent communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for global TCP/IP, VPN and MPLS networks.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco, Arista and Juniper devices.
• Interface with Cisco and Juniper TAC for vendor support.
• Second-level network and protocol troubleshooting.
• Coordinate maintenance and change management activities.
• Provide after-hours on-call escalation on a rotating schedule.
• Ensure incidents are restored with minimal service impact.
• Monitor event systems and inbound customer emails.
• Work in a 24x7 IP Desk team on a global basis.
• Engage NOC engineers to drive incidents to resolution.
