Job summary

embecta is a global medical device company expanding its compensation programs from a legacy in diabetes care to broader medical solutions. The Compensation Manager will design, administer, govern, and evolve global pay programs, conducting complex analyses and partnering across geographies to advise HR and business stakeholders.

This role reports to the Senior Director of Compensation & HR Operations and touches base pay, short-term and long-term incentives, and regulatory compliance, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive compensation experience.
• Experience with wage and hour laws, pay equity, and pay transparency; global experience preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; building complex models from scratch with large datasets.
• Forward-thinking with demonstrated use of AI tools to enhance analysis.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ownership and accountability; ability to lead initiatives with limited direction.
• Experience with annual incentive programs including calculations, modeling, forecasting, and administration.
• Workday and Radford experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain salary structures, job architecture, compensation guidelines, and related tools.
• Partner with HRIS to keep compensation data accurate in Workday and support year-end compensation planning.
• Support annual bonus process, including calculations, data validation, and communications.
• Monitor regulatory changes and support compliance, pay equity, and transparency efforts.
• Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, and business leaders to improve compensation processes and tooling.
