Job summary

BECU, a trusted financial institution, seeks a Manager of Compensation to shape our base pay and incentive programs across the organization. You’ll partner with leaders to ensure fair, market-competitive compensation aligned with business goals.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, manage annual incentive processes, and guide job design and market surveys, while mentoring a team and ensuring legal compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or human resources or equivalent work or educational experience.
• 4 years of relevant compensation experience.
• 1 year of people management experience.
• Experience with broad base compensation programs with analytical and modeling skills.
• Experience with Workday is preferred.
• CCP certification or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee base pay programs including merit cycles and salary structures.
• Lead administration of annual incentive programs for employees and leaders.
• Advise business leaders on compensation issues and policy compliance.
• Manage job design, evaluation, leveling, and titling processes.
• Oversee external compensation market surveys and analysis.
• Contribute to performance management system development and improvements.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to team members.
• Support mergers, acquisitions, and integration activities related to compensation.
