Job summary

BECU is seeking a Manager of Compensation to shape our compensation strategy, manage base pay programs, and lead annual incentive initiatives. You will partner with executives to align compensation with business goals and drive market competitiveness.

The role requires experience in compensation, knowledge of job design and surveys, and a focus on compliant, fair pay practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business or human resources or equivalent experience.
• 4 years of relevant compensation experience; 1 year of people management.
• Experience with base pay programs, calibration, modeling, and salary structures.

Responsibilities

• Lead base pay programs, merit cycles, modeling, and salary structure recommendations.
• Administer annual incentive programs and serve as primary contact for related inquiries.
• Advise business leaders on compensation issues and align with business goals.
• Manage job design, evaluation, and leveling to stay current.
• Oversee external compensation market survey strategy for competitiveness.
• Contribute to performance management and drive system improvements.
