DLA Piper seeks a Manager, Client Accounts to lead global billing services within a large, collaborative firm. You will partner with stakeholders, supervise Client Account Analysts, and drive best practices in billing processes aligned with firm strategy.

This hybrid role sits in a US office network with responsibilities for monthly close, reporting, coaching, onboarding, and escalation to senior leadership while maintaining exceptional client service.

Qualifications

• Requires 7+ years in a billing function within a law or professional services firm.
• Two years in a management or supervisory role is highly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (Elite/Aderant).
• Experience with e-Billing applications is required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and drive Global Billing improvements.
• Lead Client Account Analysts with daily supervision and guidance.
• Oversee monthly billing close and reporting; escalate delays to senior leadership.
• Ensure timely completion of assignments; meet client expectations.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance reviews to the team.
• Onboard new members and promote consistent billing process application.
• Escalate unresolved issues to senior management and research resolutions.
• Track metrics and develop reporting to strengthen client service.
• Support projects through planning, development, and execution.
