Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Manager, Client Accounts to lead global billing and reporting processes, working with senior management, lawyers, and clients. The role focuses on best practices, coaching, and ensuring timely billing delivery.

The position requires strong analytical skills, extensive Excel and accounting-system experience, and a track record of managing a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid work is offered with base in US offices.

Qualifications

• 7 years in a billing function in a law or professional services firm; strong Excel and accounting systems experience required.
• Two years in a management or supervisory role preferred.
• Experience with Elite and/or Aderant and e-Billing applications highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and drive global billing and reporting improvements.
• Lead Client Account Analysts with daily supervision, support, and guidance.
• Oversee monthly billing close and resolve delays or issues with senior leadership as needed.
• Ensure timely completion of assignments meeting client expectations.
• Provide coaching and performance reviews for team members on a regular basis.
