Job summary

DLA Piper seeks a Manager, Client Accounts to lead global billing and reporting efforts in collaboration with firm leadership. The role ensures high-quality billing support for senior management, lawyers, and clients, guiding best-in-class practices and delivering timely, accurate financial insights.

Responsibilities include overseeing monthly close, coaching a diverse team, and implementing process improvements across the billing function.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in a billing function within a law or professional services firm.
• Two years in a management or supervisory role is highly preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Elite and/or Aderant required.
• Experience with e-Billing applications is required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to implement best practices for Global Billing and Reporting and drive results through innovation.
• Lead Client Account Analysts with daily supervision, support, and guidance.
• Oversee monthly billing close and open processes and escalate delays to senior leadership.
• Ensure assignments are completed timely and meet client expectations.
• Coach and conduct performance reviews with direct reports; provide training and guidance.
