Job summary

Bloomberg is seeking an experienced Global Benefits Operations & Workday Team Lead based in New York to own the global delivery of scalable, accurate, and compliant technology solutions across Benefits, Time Off, and Leave programs. You will oversee a team of Benefits Workday professionals, elevate capability, and manage complex stakeholder relationships across HR, Engineering, and Payroll.

The role combines hands-on leadership with strategic workforce development, enabling end‑to‑end HR tech

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience in Benefits, Core HCM, Time Off, Leave, vendor integrations, Payroll integrations, and reporting.
• Proven leadership or management of an HRIS or benefits operations team.
• Collaborative ability to partner with stakeholders across HR, Payroll, HR Technology, and IT.
• Track record of delivering measurable improvements in benefits operations and HR technology.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of HRIS professionals, setting expectations and building capability.
• Assess HRIS and benefits models to identify data friction points and mitigate risks.
• Drive end-to-end HR technology initiatives, including enrollment, enhancements, and vendor integrations.
• Partner with HR, Technology, and Finance to implement initiatives with minimal disruption and high usability.
• Create multi-year roadmaps to modernize benefits administration aligned with stakeholders.
• Design and deliver reporting, dashboards, and metrics for leadership visibility.
• Oversee global vendor integrations and enforce SLA-driven governance.
• Foster diversity of thought and challenge the status quo in processes.
