Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a sales-oriented professional to drive furniture sales and deliver exceptional customer service. You will leverage the La-Z-Boy selling process, help customers choose from furniture, accessories, and services, and build lasting relationships.

During training, earn $16/hour for 2–6 weeks with no commissions. Post-training pay includes base hourly pay plus uncapped commissions and a potential quarterly bonus, with average earnings $40,000–$60,000+ and 40-hour

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous selling experience with ability to close a sale preferred.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and influence others.
• Persuasion and negotiation skills are essential.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Teamwork and flexibility with store hours.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to meet sales goals.
• Follow the La-Z-Boy selling process to provide a positive customer experience.
• Schedule home consultations to present customized room designs.
• Accurately complete orders, deposits, and delivery research.
• Maintain store displays, catalogs, and design center fabrics.
