Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is hiring in-store sales professionals to drive furniture and service sales with a focus on exceptional customer service. You will promote the Design program, assist designers, and deliver personalized room designs through consultations and product knowledge.

Training pays $18/hour for 2-6 weeks, with average earnings $40k–$60k+ after training. Post-training, base pay is $15/hour plus uncapped commissions (2–6%), plus quarterly bonuses up to $2,000.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (excellent communication skills required).
• Experience in selling and ability to close a sale strongly preferred.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drives sales and contributes to store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Promote the Design program & assist the Designer to achieve Design program sales goals.
• Execute the La-Z-Boy selling process to provide a favorable customer experience.
• Schedule professional home consultations to present customized room designs and installation benefits.
• Maintain knowledge of product lines and assist in design-related store functions.
• Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up to ensure satisfaction.
