Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is hiring a Sales Associate to drive furniture and accessory sales while delivering exceptional customer service. You will learn the La-Z-Boy selling process, promote the Design program, and help designers present customized room solutions.

The role offers training pay of $15 per hour for 2–6 weeks, with uncapped commissions on written sales and potential annual earnings of $45,000–$65,000+ after ramp-up.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication, customer service skills, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate, build rapport, and positively influence.
• Initiative to meet assigned goals and perform under deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Drives sales and contributes to store goals by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Develops and utilizes sales skills including needs discovery, objections handling and closing.
• Promotes Design program and assists Designer to achieve Design program sales goals.
• Maintains knowledge of product features and benefits to inform customers.
• Provides exceptional customer service and follow-up to ensure satisfaction.
