Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a dedicated Sales Counselor to help families select funeral and cemetery services, while promoting merchandise and property offerings. You will handle pre-need and at-need sales, guided by compassionate support for clients.

Leads come from walk-ins, inbound calls, and proactive outreach. The role includes travel to meetings and events; a valid driver’s license is required and mileage is reimbursed. Training pay of $18/hr for 6 weeks accompanies uncapped earnings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with some additional education preferred in a related area such as Business, Marketing, and/or Sales.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle. Mileage reimbursement provided for travel.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook) required.
• Experience working in a CRM (lead management system preferred).
• Strong attention to detail with problem solving skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services and inventory as well as cemetery services and merchandise.
• Assist families with funeral selections and attend services.
• Lead generation through walk-ins, inbound calls and proactive prospecting.
• This position requires offsite appointments including client meetings and community events; mileage reimbursed.
