Job summary

Everstory Partners in Wisconsin is seeking a Sales Counselor to help families choose funeral services and merchandise, visit services, and manage a pipeline of walk-in and inbound leads. The role includes travel to clients and community events with mileage reimbursement.

First-year earnings range between $60,000 and $80,000, with uncapped commissions. Training pay of $18.00 per hour for the first 6 weeks, plus full benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related area education preferred in Business, Marketing, or Sales.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement provided for travel.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Outlook) required.
• Experience working in a CRM (lead management system preferred).
• Strong attention to detail with problem solving skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, inventory, cemetery services, property and merchandise.
• Assist families with funeral selections.
• Attend services as needed.
• Lead generation through walk-ins, inbound calls and proactive outreach.
