Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor to guide families through funeral and cemetery decisions with empathy. You will build a pipeline, follow up leads, and close sales for pre-need and at-need services while earning commission based on performance.

You’ll use HubSpot CRM to manage inquiries, appointments, and opportunities, and collaborate with local funeral homes and leadership to ensure a compassionate customer experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus (Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese or Arabic).
• One year of sales or related relationship-based experience preferred.
• Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Dynamics preferred.
• Comfortable in a commission-based, performance-driven sales environment.
• Strong sales communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple leads, appointments, and follow-up activities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to assess needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products.
• Sell pre-need and at-need services, cemetery property, and related merchandise.
• Build a pipeline via leads, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads, inquiries, and walk-ins; follow up throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and community members.
• Explain products, pricing, and options clearly and compassionately.
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions and complete contracts and docs.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, activities, and sales opportunities.
• Attend services as appropriate to support families and participate in events.
