Job summary

Everstory Partners is hiring a Sales Counselor to guide individuals and families through funeral and cemetery product choices with a consultative approach.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, inbound/outbound prospecting, and community outreach, using HubSpot CRM to track leads and activities. Compensation is commission-based with a guaranteed minimum and training pay of $18 per hour for six weeks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred across outside sales, B2C, or related roles.
• CRM experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or Dynamics preferred.
• Comfortable in a commission-based environment with prospecting and lead generation.
• Strong sales communication, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple leads, appointments, and follow-ups.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline through inbound leads, walk-ins, referrals, and prospecting.
• Respond to inbound leads and walk-in opportunities and conduct follow-ups.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and community members.
• Explain products, pricing, and available options clearly and compassionately.
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions and complete required contracts and documentation.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, relationships, appointments, and sales activities.
• Attend funeral and memorial services as appropriate to support families.
• Partner with funeral homes, cemetery, operations, and leadership teams to ensure a positive experience.
