Job summary

Everstory Partners in Saginaw, MI is seeking a Sales Counselor to guide families through funeral and cemetery decisions with care and compassion. You will build a pipeline from inbound leads, walk-ins, and community outreach, selling pre-need and at-need services and related merchandise.

Expect uncapped commissions or a guaranteed minimum hourly rate, with paid training and strong emphasis on relationship-building.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus, especially Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, or Arabic.
• One year of sales experience including outside sales, B2C sales, or related roles preferred.
• Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
• Comfortable in a commission-based, performance-driven sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline through lead generation, referrals, networking, and outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads and walk-in opportunities; conduct follow-ups throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers, families, and the local community.
• Explain products, pricing, and options clearly and compassionately; guide purchasing decisions.
