Job summary

Everstory Partners in Detroit, MI is seeking a Sales Counselor to guide families through funeral and cemetery product choices. You will build a strong local pipeline through inbound leads, referrals, and community outreach, while managing activity in HubSpot and delivering compassionate consultation.

The role offers uncapped commissions or a guaranteed minimum hourly rate, with paid training during the first six weeks and occasional evenings or weekend commitments, as business needs dictate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of sales or relationship-based experience preferred.
• CRM software experience (HubSpot/Salesforce/Dynamics) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays as needed.
• Licenses/registrations as required by state law within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand needs and recommend products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorialization products, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline through leads, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads and walk-ins; follow up throughout the sales process.
• Guide families through purchasing decisions and complete contracts and documentation.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, appointments, and sales opportunities; attend services as appropriate.
