Job summary

Everstory Partners in Michigan is seeking a Sales Counselor to help families choose funeral and cemetery services, merchandise, and related properties. You will work with walk-ins, inbound calls and proactive leads to guide selections and close sales.

This full-time role offers training pay during onboarding and uncapped commissions, with first-year earnings projected between $45,000 and $65,000 plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma; related coursework preferred in Business/Marketing/Sales.
• 1 year of sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to personal vehicle; travel to meetings/community events; mileage reimbursement provided.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook) required; CRM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, inventory, cemetery services, property and merchandise.
• Assist families with funeral selections and attend services.
• Generate leads through walk-ins, inbound calls and proactive prospecting; follow up with clients to close sales.
