Job summary

Everstory Partners in Lansing, MI, is hiring a Sales Counselor to assist families with funeral selections and attend services. You will drive revenue through pre-need and at-need services, cemetery offerings, and related merchandise, with leads from walk-ins, inbound calls, and proactive prospecting.

The role offers uncapped commissions, a first-year earnings range, and six weeks of paid training at $18 per hour. Some travel and weekend/evening work are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related education preferred in Business/Marketing/Sales.
• 1 year sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and access to personal vehicle; travel to client/community events; mileage reimbursed.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook) required.
• Experience with CRM/lead management systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information.
• Availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities
