Job summary

Everstory Partners in Westland, MI is seeking a Sales Counselor to guide families through funeral and cemetery decisions with compassionate, consultative service. You will manage leads, close sales, and build relationships using HubSpot CRM.

This role offers uncapped commissions or a guaranteed minimum hourly rate, paid training, and opportunities to serve the community through outreach and partnerships with local funeral homes and cemeteries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of sales or relationship-based experience preferred.
• Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Dynamics preferred.
• Comfortable in a commission-based, performance-driven sales environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must obtain state licenses within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to assess needs and guide options.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorial products, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline through leads, referrals, networking, and outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads and walk-in opportunities.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, appointments, and follow-up activities.
• Attend funeral and memorial services to support families.
• Partner with funeral home and cemetery teams to ensure a positive experience.
