Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Tennessee is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our geriatric care team in a skilled nursing setting.

The RT will perform assessments, initiate therapies, manage equipment, and document care while collaborating with nursing staff and attending IDT meetings.

Candidates must have COARC-accredited AS or BS in Respiratory Therapy, and hold RRT or CRT license in Tennessee, with BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC-accredited AS or BS Respiratory Therapy program.
• Licensed in Tennessee as RRT or CRT; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs assessments and initiates respiratory therapies for residents with varied respiratory and related conditions.
• Operates and maintains equipment, documents care and progress.
• Provides bedside treatments and participates in quarterly in-services.
• Attends IDT meetings and contributes to care planning.
• Experience with tracheotomy and long-term care setting.
