Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing seeks a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join a geriatric care team in a Skilled Nursing facility. Must hold an COARC-accredited AS or BS in Respiratory Therapy and be licensed as an RRT or CRT in the state, with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed (RRT or CRT) in the state of practice.
• Graduate of COARC-accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and implement respiratory techniques to progress rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment.
• Perform bedside treatments and coordinate with nursing staff.
• Attend applicable IDT meetings and participate in care planning.
• Experience with tracheotomy and long-term care settings.
• Follow facility policies and protocols; manage caseload and documentation.
