Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Tennessee is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled nursing team. The RT will evaluate and treat residents with a range of respiratory and non-respiratory conditions, operate equipment, and document care per departmental policy.

Candidates must hold COARC-accredited AS or BS in Respiratory Therapy, hold an active state license (RRT or CRT), and maintain BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess and implement respiratory therapies for rehab patients with diverse respiratory and non-respiratory illnesses.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Complete bedside treatments and documentation on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
• Attend applicable IDT meetings and participate in care planning.
• Experience with tracheotomy and long-term care settings.
