Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Tennessee seeks a full-time Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join a geriatric-focused, skilled nursing team. The RT must hold a state license, work independently, and perform therapeutic activities to enhance residents’ experiences and outcomes.

The role includes evaluating patients, initiating therapies, and documenting care while following facility protocols and participating in quarterly in-services. Prior LTAC/LTC experience is preferred.

Competenze

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory Therapy program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT in the practicing state.

Mansioni

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques for rehab patients with various respiratory and non-respiratory illnesses.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment.
• Complete bedside treatments and in-services for nursing staff quarterly.
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly documentation and attend IDT meetings.
• Experience with tracheotomy and in long-term care settings.
