Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Tennessee seeks a dedicated Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our skilled nursing team. This full-time role requires licensure in the state and the ability to evaluate and treat residents independently, with a focus on geriatric care and functional outcomes.

The RT will perform assessments, initiate therapies, manage equipment, and collaborate with the IDT to support residents’ breathing and comfort.

Formación

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program. Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing; BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques for rehab patients with various respiratory and non-respiratory conditions.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment.
• Complete bedside treatments.
• Complete in-services for nursing staff every quarter.
• Responsible for completing daily, weekly and monthly documentation.
• Attend applicable IDT meetings.
• Follow facility procedures and policies.
• Described in Departmental Policy and Procedure Manual across listed interventions: oxygen weaning, aerosol therapy, CPAP/BIPAP, chest physiotherapy, trunk and bronchial hygiene, and airway management.
