Job summary

CONTACT Care Line is a national crisis program offering 988 text and phone support. This fully remote, full-time role requires 40 hours per week with 8.5 hour shifts, and weekend days are required.

Eligible states include AL, AZ, FL, GA, LA, MO, NC, OH, OK, SC, TN, TX, WV, WY. As a Crisis Counselor you will assess suicide risk, provide compassionate support, document interactions promptly, and collaborate with teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field required
• Minimum of 1 year experience in mental health or crisis intervention
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Strong empathic listening and communication skills
• Ability to work remotely with high reliability and confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Respond to 988 chat, text, and phone interactions promptly
• Assess suicide risk and implement safety planning
• Document interactions accurately within required timelines
• Engage in coordination with teams via Slack and Teams
• Follow clinical and operational protocols across shifts
