Job summary

YMCA of Central Massachusetts is seeking a part-time Welcome Center staff member to provide exceptional customer service and member support. You will handle face-to-face and phone inquiries, assist with programs, hours, and membership information, and help ensure a welcoming environment at the front desk.

Under supervision of the Membership Coordinator, you will support staff and help maintain YMCA procedures.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer service experience.
• Strong organizational, computer and communication skills.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups.
• Experience with front desk procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level customer service at the welcome center.
• Answer inquiries about membership, hours, and program schedules.
• Assist Membership Coordinator with front desk procedures and training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
