Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Boston is seeking a Welcome Center Representative to greet members, check in guests, and provide information on programs and memberships. You will work under the Director of Membership Sales & Service and help maintain a safe, welcoming facility.

Part-time hours include weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends. You’ll handle phone calls, member tours, and ensure policy adherence while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent member service and exceed member expectations.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Use Listen First skills to build relationships with members and prospects.
• Must communicate YMCA policies effectively.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members and program participants.
• Handle member tours and inquiries per YMCA policies.
• Take calls and manage lobby traffic; cash handling and balancing.
• Maintain clean, organized workspace and respond to emergencies.
