Job summary

Monzo is hiring a Team Manager for its Fraud team. You will lead a group of about 12 Investigators, guiding daily operations, analyzing performance and wellbeing, and coaching for success. You will connect team work to Monzo’s mission, ensuring engagement and strong outcomes.

You’ll also manage formal performance processes, support hiring, and maintain service levels, all while fostering a compassionate, high‑performing culture aligned with Monzo’s values.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people management experience.
• Subject matter expertise in Fraud to resolve complex escalations.
• Ability to coach and develop teams and individuals.

Responsibilities

• Guide a team of about 12 Fraud Investigators, monitoring performance and wellbeing.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and development plans to team members.
• Handle performance, absence processes, and maintain engagement with Monzo's mission.
• Feed insights back to the wider Fraud domain and assist with hiring and SLAs.
