Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Fraud Operations Manager to lead multiple fraud and disputes teams, shaping strategy and driving scalable efficiency in a remote-first environment. You will mentor people leaders and ICs, set performance goals, and ensure high-quality outcomes while championing inclusion and development.

You’ll define an operational roadmap, improve investigator workflows with data-driven plans, and partner with cross-functional teams to align on business priorities and risk management.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in disputes, fraud risk prevention and detection within FinTech/tech
• 5+ years in fraud management or people management roles
• Proven success delivering large-scale operational change
• Strong strategic planning, risk management, and prioritization
• Executive communication and influence skills
• Experience leading teams through change and ambiguity
• Experience with AI initiatives to improve efficiency
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma or data-driven methodologies
• Familiarity with scripting & querying languages (Python, SQL)
