Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Fraud Operations Manager to lead multiple fraud operations teams, driving strategy, efficiency and compliance. You will coach leaders and ICs, align cross-functional partners, and ensure high performance in a remote-first environment.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in disputes/fraud, 5+ years in fraud management or people leadership, and a track record of major operational improvements while maintaining a strong culture of inclusion and personal development.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of disputes, fraud risk prevention and detection in FinTech/tech.
• 5+ years in fraud management or people leadership roles.
• Proven ability to define strategy and deliver large-scale change.
• Strong strategic planning, risk management and prioritization.
• Executive communication and stakeholder alignment.
• Experience leading teams through major change and ambiguity.
• Experience with AI initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Lean Six Sigma or data-driven improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop multiple teams of managers and ICs across fraud operations.
• Define and champion an operational strategy to improve efficiency, quality and compliance.
• Ensure service levels and productivity with data-driven queue health management.
• Translate business goals into team objectives and drive cross-functional alignment.
