Job summary

Affirm is a remote-first company seeking a Fraud Operations Manager to oversee multiple fraud operations teams and drive scalable efficiency. You will lead and develop talent, define strategy, and champion a high-performance, inclusive culture while ensuring productivity and accuracy across disputes and compliance work.

You will partner with cross-functional leaders, leverage data to manage queue health, and influence executive stakeholders to deliver measurable improvements in fraud prevention

Qualifications

• 6+ years of direct experience in disputes, fraud risk prevention and detection within FinTech/tech industry.
• 5+ years of experience in fraud management or related people management roles.
• Proven ability to lead managers or senior ICs and set strategy.
• Strong executive communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with data-driven, cross-functional process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a group of people leaders and ICs across multiple teams.
• Drive team performance using metrics like productivity, quality, and customer outcomes.
• Foster a high-performing, engaged team in a fast-paced environment.
• Partner with recruiting to hire, onboard, and retain top talent.
• Define an operational strategy to improve function, efficiency and compliance.
• Translate business goals into team objectives and ensure alignment.
