Job summary

Extend Your Team is seeking a Risk/Fraud Operations Team Lead to oversee a high-visibility fraud operations team, reporting to the Manager of Fraud Operations. You will coach Analysts, manage scheduling, and drive data-driven improvements across risk processes while ensuring regulatory compliance and effective collaboration with engineering and compliance partners.

This remote, full-time role requires 4+ years in a supervisory capacity within US financial services, strong Excel/Sheets skills,

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a lead/supervisory role, preferably with a top 25 depository US Financial Institution
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets formulas and functions
• Basic SQL knowledge strongly preferred
• Familiarity with automation concepts including workflow management and AI technologies
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with autonomy to execute
• Ability to distill complex problems into data-backed language
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of Agentic AI concepts, risks, and mitigation practices
• Knowledge of US Banking regulations as it pertains to fraud
• Experience using Zendesk, Google Drive, Email

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor, and upskill a team of fraud analysts
• Manage day-to-day team operations including scheduling and PTO
• Ensure work is assigned fairly and within capacity
• Monitor performance metrics and drive quality improvements
• QA analyst work for compliance with law and internal policy
• Act as first line escalation for complex cases
• Maintain procedures to improve fraud detection with acceptable friction
• Develop dashboards and data-driven insights for operations
• Support compliance commitments to Sponsor Bank(s)
• Other duties as assigned
