Job summary

Affirm is seeking a Fraud Operations Manager to lead and develop a team across fraud operations, disputes, and compliance. You will drive a strategic roadmap, improve efficiency, and ensure high-quality performance while fostering a culture of inclusion and growth.

The role emphasizes leadership of managers and ICs, with a focus on data-driven decision making and cross-functional alignment. The role is remote-first in the United States, with US-based teams and offices as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in disputes and fraud risk management within FinTech/tech.
• 5+ years leading managers or senior ICs.
• Proven ability to set strategy and deliver large-scale operational change.
• Strong strategic planning and risk management skills.
• Executive communication and stakeholder alignment.
• Experience with AI project initiatives and data-driven methods.
• Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement experience.
• Familiarity with Python or SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple fraud operations teams across pods and drive performance.
• Define operational strategy and roadmaps to improve efficiency, quality and compliance.
