Job summary

Weave, the engineering platform for the AI era, is hiring its first BDR in San Francisco. You will build the outbound motion from the ground up, targeting CTOs and VPs of Engineering and turning interest into qualified pipeline.

You will work closely with founders and GTM, test messaging, and craft playbooks for future BDRs. This in-person role offers equity, health coverage, and a clear path to AE or GTM leadership.

Qualifications

• Comfort on the phone and ability to open a cold call, ask useful questions, and secure a next step.
• Strong writing and research skills to find a real reason to contact an account and explain it concisely.
• Curiosity about how software gets built and how engineering leaders evaluate new tools.
• Good judgment about quality over vanity metrics.
• Resilience and follow-through despite rejection.
• Startup readiness: comfortable testing ideas and making progress without a finished playbook.
• Willing to work in person from the San Francisco office five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Create qualified pipeline by researching target accounts and turning cold accounts into booked meetings.
• Write outbound that sounds human across email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Attend engineering leadership events and follow up quickly to convert interest into pipeline.
• Build the outbound playbook by testing personas, segments, hooks, objections, and channels.
• Bring prospect feedback to founders, marketing, and product weekly.
