Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers is seeking a Medical Receptionist (Patient Services Coordinator) to greet patients, collect data, process payments, and schedule visits. This float role covers multiple clinics in the Houston market with mileage reimbursement eligibility.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in medical administration, strong communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems. Travel to various UVVC locations as needed is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in medical assisting or administration.
• Willingness to travel to other clinics as needed in the Houston market.
• Familiarity with ECW is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, sign them in, collect insurance information and data.
• Provide intake forms and policy documents to patients.
• Process payments for co-pays and uninsured visits.
• Schedule appointments for new and returning patients.
• Maintain hard copy and EMR records; audit insurance eligibility.
• Support and guide patients; uphold UVVC core values.
