Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers is seeking a Medical Receptionist (Patient Services Coordinator) to warmly greet patients, collect insurance information, provide forms, process payments, and schedule appointments. This role supports timely patient flow and accurate data entry while upholding UVVC standards.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in medical administration, familiarity with ECW is a plus, and strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in medical assisting or administration.
• Familiarity with ECW is a plus.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival, sign them in and obtain insurance information and any other data.
• Provide patients with intake and new patient forms, and copies of office policies and documents.
• Process payments from patients for co-pays and uninsured visits.
• Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients per schedule guidelines.
• Maintain hard copy and EMR records; audit schedule for insurance eligibility.
• Maintain PHI confidentiality in line with HIPAA and UVVC policies.
