Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers is seeking a Medical Receptionist (Patient Services Coordinator) to greet patients, collect insurance information, provide forms, process payments, and schedule appointments. You will maintain records in our EMR system and support a patient-focused environment.

We value a fast-paced, courteous team member with strong communication skills and experience in medical administration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in medical assisting or administration.
• Familiarity with ECW is a plus.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival, sign them in and obtain insurance information.
• Provide intake and new patient forms and copies of office policies.
• Process payments for co-pays and uninsured visits.
• Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients.
• Maintain hard copy patient records and EMR files.
