Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers is seeking a Medical Receptionist (Patient Services Coordinator) to greet patients, collect insurance information, provide forms, process payments, and schedule visits. You will manage records in our EMR system and ensure PHI privacy while supporting a patient‑centered experience.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in medical administration, familiarity with ECW a plus, and strong communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in medical assisting or administration.
• Familiarity with ECW a plus.
• Ability to handle a fast‑paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival, sign them in and obtain insurance information.
• Provide patients with intake and new patient forms and policy documents.
• Process payments for co-pays and uninsured visits.
• Schedule appointments for new and recurring patients.
• Maintain hard copy and EMR patient records.
• Audit schedule for insurance eligibility.
• Provide patient support and guidance as needed.
• Demonstrate UVVC core values and conduct standards.
• Maintain PHI confidentiality per HIPAA and policies.
