Job summary

Famous Tate Appliance & Bedding Centers seeks a Fleet Coordinator to oversee maintenance scheduling, records, and compliance for the company fleet. The role involves coordinating with repair shops, tracking fuel and parts, and ensuring DOT rules where applicable.

Ideal candidates will have 1–3 years in transportation or fleet operations, a valid license, and a clean background. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential in a Monday–Friday, 40–47 hour workweek.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in transportation, logistics, or fleet operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, with no points.
• Clean background and negative drug test.

Responsibilities

• Set up preventive maintenance schedules, track open work orders, and arrange unscheduled repairs to minimize vehicle downtime.
• Maintain logs of fuel usage, expenses, parts inventory, and registration paperwork; track safety and regulatory compliance (e.g., DOT rules).
• Coordinate with external repair shops and parts suppliers, and relay urgent roadside or breakdown information to management.
