Job summary

AAA Northeast in Milford, CT is seeking a Fleet Operations Manager to lead Fleet Supervisors, manage daily operations, and drive performance aligned with club values. The role emphasizes staffing, scheduling, and cost-efficient service delivery within a collaborative environment.

The position requires overseeing safety, training needs, and relationship-building with internal teams and contract garages to deliver exceptional Five Diamond Service while managing expenses and driving productivity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid resident driver's license and DOT card required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities and performance of Fleet Supervisors and coach them in evaluations.
• Foster a positive work environment, improve relationships, morale, and productivity.
• Administer scheduling for optimal coverage and cost-effective service delivery.
• Build relationships with internal operations, fleet, and contract garages to improve service.
• Analyze trends to develop solutions, programs, and policies with management teams.
• Monitor daily performance to department standards.
• Support transitions in business processes and organizational changes.
• Ensure growth in the Fleet Career Path program and development requirements.
• Identify training needs and ensure safety and policy adherence.
• Respond to fleet incidents, escalate as needed, complete required documents.
• Complete reports (daily cash, battery revenue, tow revenue, and others) for accuracy.
• Ensure daily deposits and safeguard department revenue per cash handling policies.
• Maintain accurate records and analyze data to improve productivity and control costs.
• Perform periodic inventory audits and monitor supplies.
